These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DigitalMahder, a document management platform operated by Space Software PLC, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement to use DigitalMahder. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@digitalmahder.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization.
• You may not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access DigitalMahder without our written permission.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use DigitalMahder only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Upload or share content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or other users' data.
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of DigitalMahder.
• Resell or sublicense access to DigitalMahder without prior written consent from Space Software PLC.

4. Storage and file limits

Each account is assigned a storage quota as specified in your subscription plan. You are responsible for managing your storage usage. Files that exceed your storage limit may not be uploaded until sufficient space is freed or your plan is upgraded. We reserve the right to remove files that violate these Terms after reasonable notice.

5. Subscription and payment

• DigitalMahder is offered on an annual subscription basis.
• New accounts receive a 12-day free trial period.
• After the trial, continued access requires payment as described in your invoice.
• Prices are subject to applicable taxes including VAT where required.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with overdue payments after reasonable notice.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@digitalmahder.com to discuss your situation.

6. Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in using Google, your use of Google authentication is also governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We receive only your name, email address, and Google account ID from Google for the purpose of authenticating your identity.

7. Two-factor authentication

We offer two-factor authentication (2FA) as an optional but strongly recommended security feature. If you enable 2FA and lose access to your authentication device or email, account recovery may require identity verification. We are not responsible for loss of access resulting from failure to maintain your 2FA recovery options.

8. Ownership of your data

You retain full ownership of all files and documents you upload to DigitalMahder. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. By uploading files, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your files solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

9. Service availability

We aim to maintain high availability of the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance, which we will communicate in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary service outages or interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the account at any time:

• By you — contact us at support@digitalmahder.com to request account deletion. Your data will be removed within 30 days.
• By us — we may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay subscription fees after notice.

Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases and your files will be deleted after the retention period specified in our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ethiopian law, Space Software PLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of DigitalMahder, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

DigitalMahder is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. We recommend maintaining your own backups of critical documents.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Continued use of DigitalMahder after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
